Renovation Project – Part 5

New Windows at last!!

Apologies for keeping you all in suspense for so long, life got a bit crazy and I lost my mojo for writing.

Anyway, to continue from where the last blog ended, we were hoping to get the new windows in before Christmas but due to other work needing to be completed first, they eventually went in at the end of January.

We still need to replace the facias and the front door at a later date, so it’s not quite looking finished yet.

We opted for cream sash windows at the front of the house and anthracite grey out the back. The big living room window is an aluminium bifold window, so in the summer you can sit and enjoy the outside inside.

Liam Moran from Neath is the guy who fitted the windows. He’s fantastic and I highly recommend him. He also fitted the windows on our home in Cwmtwrch.

Now for the photo’s….

And now for the back of the house, which I realise I haven’t even shown any pictures of yet..so I’ll start with the back before and then finish with the afters.

Such a big transformation already and yet still so much more work to do. In the next blog we’ll be going back inside and showing you the progress we’ve been making there.

Thank you for reading and waiting so long 😁
