Today I had a couple of new experiences.
Firstly, I have sussed out my driveway to make it easier to get the dogs in the van. More jigsaw pieces haha.

After the exhaustion of working on my own on Monday, I needed to take it easy today, so poor Tracey had to do all the poo picking up while I avoided the gravel as much as possible. My feet yesterday had a real workout and they needed a rest. Just like any physical activity, it is important to have rest days. Unfortunately for me I work 7 days a week 12-14 hours a day, so I get very little time for rest. My feet enjoyed being on the grass and then in the afternoon I decided to put my feet up in the barn and sit on the sofa with the dogs. This was heaven. It is such a rare occurrence that I actually get to sit down.

The first first of the day, was an actual on the lead dog walk. I started a pet sitting job and had to take the dog for a walk around the block. I was apprehensive as I wasn’t sure how my feet would cope if the dog pulled on the lead. Turned out it wasn’t an issue at all. Strangely I felt like I had more control if anything. The walk was on tarmac and grass. Some of the tarmac was the type that felt like needles, so I opted for the grass where I could. Currently I like to take the easier option 😁

The second first of the day was a proper public appearance as I went to Swansea City Stadium to watch Wales V Italy in the women’s UEFA Nations League. I had visions in my head of everyone asking me why I was barefoot and literally no one said a word. We were running late due to traffic and missed kick off, so walking into stadium not many people around. Security didn’t bat an eyelid to Leanne’s relief. She was worried they wouldn’t let me in.
The football wasn’t great and Wales lost 4-1, but Jess Fishlocks goal was amazing.
On the way back to the car I could hear a couple of people behind me talking about my bare feet and that was it. No one offered to sponsor me unfortunately.
Loved my first experience out of the village.
